Cloudy Bay is the most internationally recognised brand from New Zealand. It is one of the first five wineries established in Marlborough, the finest wine region in New Zealand. It is a highly sought after range of wine, each offering consumers different experiences.
Cloudy Bay Pelorus is a sparkling wine which was launched in 1987 and named after a dolphin (all the best wines are), named Pelorus Jack. Pelorus vintages are matured on the lees for three years, and are released after four years of ageing.
The 2006 Pelorus Vintage exhibits rich and complex aromas of brioche, nougat and almond biscotti, overlying subtle red apple and citrus fruits.
