Cloudy Bay is the most internationally recognised brand from New Zealand. It is one of the first five wineries established in Marlborough, the finest wine region in New Zealand. It is a highly sought after range of wine, each offering consumers different experiences.
Cloudy Bay Chardonnay 2007 is the international benchmark of its category. This world-class Chardonnay rivals the great whites of the Côte d'Or. In 2007, grapes were selected from the best sites around Marlborough and the juice fermented in oak barrels, not stainless steel vats. Why? To get a seamless and more subtle oak quality in the wine. The top producers in Burgundy have done it this way for years. It's fresh with a zesty citrus quality, yet ripe with peach and nectarine flavours and a toasty complexity.
