Piper-Heidsieck

In 1785 Florens-Louis Heidsieck founded the Cloth & Wine Trading Company, Heidsieck & Company.  His champagne was an instant hit with affluent families in his local area and the distinctive taste of his champagne quickly spread by word of mouth, giving him greater success than he anticipated. Upon Monsieur Heidsieck’s passing in 1828, his nephew and a spirited young business man called Henri-Guillaume Piper formed a partnership and drove the business forward. Today, Piper-Heidsieck, with its distinctive red and gold branding is a trusted name in the world of champagne.
